Good day.

We are working on one project and I will be very grateful for some advices.

We already have 2 ANPR cameras from HikVision (series 4 and series 7) and they are very useful. Now we have a plan to buy 2 more, but I don't know which ones will be the most useful for the job.

I've been running with iVMS-4200 for some years without issues. I recently fired up the app and no images appeared in either Main View or Remote Playback.
I spent some hours trying to find what had changed, but I could not resolve it. I decided to uninstall all and reinstalled the latest version 3.1.1.6_E.
To my dismay and after setting everything up (old saved config files don't work with this version), I have the same result.
I am running Win 10 64 bit and am up to date with all MS...

Hi, recently had a garage break in, my home built e-bike was stolen.

Looking to put on CCTV system with a max of 4 cameras. I have played with some cheap web cams before and found standard Frame Difference motion detection to be pretty useless. Trigger all the time.

Crossing Line detection seems a good idea. 2 questions,

Is the Crossing line detection done by the camera or NVR

When is the cheapest 4MP POE NVR that supports Crossing Line, I thought the K series did not unless it has been...

Hi,

Whhat firmware should I use for this camera: HiLook IPC-D620H-Z ?

I think it is the same as Hi-Watch.
According to a list from Hi-Watch it would look like I can use the G0 firmware from Hikvison. Am I correct ?

Hik-Connect v4.1.0 launches upside down in IOS on my iPad Mini

The fact that no-one else appears to have reported this makes me question myself but the new version of Hik-Connect displays upside down on my iPad Mini and won't be persuaded to rotate (after unlocking the rotate function). Other apps are displaying fine - and Hik-Connect 4.1.0 is displaying properly on an iPhone. Maybe the iPad Mini is showing its age. Or I am.

AHD camera image deteriorating shortly after power-up

hi all, this is an AHD camera, it's was off for few weeks, just after I reconnect the cable to the DVR, everything was OK until 20 mins later the image suddenly turn to condition like image 2, like there is a mesh in the middle, but outer line of the image was OK, any idea what's going on here please???

HIK Connect regularly getting bell images not snapshot images.

My HIK Connect (Android APP) new notifications regularly fails to receive a camera snapshot image but get bell images instead.

I've seen other posts on this issue but they seem to go off to discuss email / SMTP settings. I'm not using email and it's not configured - just HIK-Connect.

My equipment is a DS-7616NI-I216P with 5 local POE DS-2CD2383G0-I cameras and 4 LAN POE DS-2CD2383G0-I cameras.

I am looking to install a 4k 8ch nvr at my home. My house is located on the main road and I park my car in front of my house so that's why I am installing a cctv system. I recently found a Hikvision DS-2CD202-I laying around and I thought I might as well install it in my house! It was several years ago I bought it and it was on old firmware, but I have updated it to V5.4.5 and installed iVMS-4200. My question to you guys is if there's any good alternatives to using HDD storage? I was hoping that my camera would be compatible with Cloud storage since I have a Onedrive account with virtually unlimited storage, but I'm trying to move away from...

I was just about to purchase the second generation intercom system for my home, I'd been dragging my feet for months due to the size of the outdoor unit, despite it being rather ascetically pleasing i also wanted a card reader module so it became a 2 gang unit and there rather large and i felt would look out of place on my front door, this morning i went onto the Hikvision website to check part numbers before i ordered as there is the IP or the 2 wire setup, however i spotted this;

Axis 213 PTZ, unable to click to move in live view

Hi, I've recently brought a 213 second hand. I want to use the click to pan/tilit of the camera but I'm unable to. I'm able to click to pan/tilt when in the setting PTZ limits setting in the PTZ configuration. I've appiled the latest firmware for it and I'm using Brave (Chrome based) browser for viewing.

Hi,

I have finally managed to install one of my Hikvision DS-KD8003-IME1 door stations with a keypad and card reader. I have issued several RFID cards and opening of the electric lock works.

I’m struggling now with recording videos and capturing pictures. I’m using iVMS4200 v.3.2.0.10. I used earlier v3.1 and the new version fixed some bugs and added new functionalities. I have updated the firmware on the door and sub units to the latest version.
