HiLook Firmware

I know this forum is more for the Hikvision mainstream products, but I did ask a question here a while back (can't find it now!) regarding Hilook cameras.
I have two of them - a PTZ-N2404I-DE3 and a PTZ-N2204I-DE3. Both were running 5.5.6 firmware. The 2404 was branded Hilook in the firmware, and showed a model number, but the 2204 had a blank space where the HiLook logo should be, and the model number box in the web interface was blank, so think this was an OEM camera

Wi-Fi password changed. How can I connect the cameras again to it?

Hi, we are using Hik-connect app for a while now for our security cameras. The person who came set up the DVR and everything but recently we changed our Wi-Fi password and now it shows that the device is offline when I try to access the cameras on my phone. Can someone please tell how to get the cameras back online?

I am looking to get the IPC-HFW5241E-Z12E to work with my hikvision 7608ni-k2/8p NVR.

The NVR will be 60 ft away from the installed camera.

I already planned to use a POE switch and run the cat 6 cable to the camera. I want to setup the AUDIO IN and OUT, plus the ALARM IN and OUT.

1) Am i supposed to run the ALARM IN/OUT back to the NVR , via a 2 wire cable, or is it meant to be interfaced with an external device like an alarm system? Can i...

Issue loggin in to HIk-Connect on IVMS 4200 and IVMS 4500, but can login through Hik-Connect website and app.

Here is an odd one, out of the blue, it seems I can no long connect to Hik-Connect through IVMS 4200 or IVMS 4500. I get an error that says you don't have permission to login. However, when I login directly to the Hik-Connect website, and the Hik-Connect app, I am able to login and see the IP cameras no problem. Has anyone else experienced this issue before?

As y'all know, the Hikvision video intercom (2nd generation) allows multiple indoor screens to be connected either by POE or by wi-fi to the master screen. Trouble is the instructions contain zero useful information about the power supply required for an indoor wi-fi screen - and of course no power supply comes in the box. Hello

I have a DS7608/K2 8P running latest version 3 firmware connected to 4 x 2343GOs and 1 x 2365G1 camera running latest firmware also. Resolutions and frame rates set to max on all with bit rates enabled for highest settings. All works great, playback, live view, etc. except in playback on all cameras there are no thumbnail images showing on the timeline. Instead the thumbnails show "no resource".

I have tried to work out if its my settings but have not come across anything...

Hi. I would like to install a HiKvision camera in/on my home. Just as a project more than anything.

The problem is that I cannot decide where exactly to locate it and i really cannot decide between bullet or dome camera.

I have PoE in the loft as I ran cables around the house during the renovations.

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has installed this camera before?

I bought it recently amongst a few other HIK bits for the house as I wanted something at the front porch that wasn't huge and had the ability to capture audio if required. I assumed that it would be covered on the data side of the POE cable but I'm thinking not after seeing all the plugs attached to it.

Can someone confirm that I will need to route some sort of audio cable with the Cat-5e before I get stuck into it? And if so...

No Record File Found

Hoping someone is able to assist with an issue i've been unable to resolve on my HIKVision setup.

Issue
Each time I try to playback my garden camera via iVMS-4200 (Mac) it states "No Record File Found" and is unable to play back the recorded video whereas the other two camera work as intended, the garden camera is the only camera connected via WIFI. When I check the NVR under Remote Configuration > Event > Schedule this is set to "local recording" as per the other cameras. The...

Any ideas where to get the hikvision rain shield model: SRSM?

I can't seem to find any UK retailer selling this for some reason? Seems like something that should be stocked, after all it's just a rain shield for the wall mount..

Any ideas why/if any reason this isn't being sold in the UK?

Hi!

I wondered if anyone else had the troublesome issue, where hik-connect will just decide to take itself offline (without network errors), and the best way I can find to quickly fix it, is to enable/disable cycle a few times, and also change the verification code ...seems buggy!

Looking for some help please.

Recently did an upgrade on the firmware of my CCTV via the web app after checking online and it stating there was a later firmware.

Since that time, there have been issues with playback and live view functionality via the Hik connect app - the timings on playback will jump back and forth five seconds or so and the picture will distort and scramble. it is lagging and jumping.

I recently brought Hikvision DS-7A08HGHI-F1 ECO 8CH DVR, I have issues with net connection after each restart of the device. I could bale to connect to the net with all configurations setups at Network-Platform access tabs, but when the DVR restarts (due to power cuts) it automatically goes to offline. I use Tenda router to connect to the net with DVR. Kindly help me to fix this issue

Hi all,

I have NVR 7716 which is POE and a bunch of HIK Vision cameras and intercom.

I wanted to ask is there a recommendation on weather I should set the cameras up as "plug n play" (which the NVR setups them up and they are on a separate subnet). I'm not sure what will be required for the intercom.

Or should I set them up manually and put them onto a separate VLAN on my network. I assume this would mean I dont connect the cameras to the NVR POE ports (which is kind of useless having a...

Hi All.
I'm setting up two new cameras and an NVR and am having trouble with one of them (the colorvu DS-2CD2347G1-LU)
The D2345 works just fine and the NVR (DS-7604NI-K1) looks to be good too.

On the colorvu though, every time I try to enable WDR or HLC I get an error message "setting failed". Its fine on the D2345.
I've been through the manual and searched but can't see any particular setting that I've missed so as...

Wanting to replace a camera

Evening all,

We have a Hikvision system comprising of a DVR and 2 dome cameras. The front camera has some additional features such as line crossing detection but the rear doesn't. The rear has started to go faulty and I would like to replace it with a unit similar to the front but there's so many out there I'm not sure which one to order. I think they're poe cameras as they are attached to the DVR by cat5 adapters.

Can anyone recommend a camera I could order?

Question about DS-7732NI-I4 / 16P NVR Intrusion detection

Hello.
I'm probably being silly and missed a setting somewhere.

I have two identical IP cameras on my NVR.

Both have intrusion detection and line cross turned off for alerts (not enabled).
But on one of the cameras if i go on the NVR and do a 'smart' search for either line cross or intrusion where ever i want on the screen it will search all recordings files for detection. Other camera wont do it.

On Hikvision NVRs (such as DS-7608NI-K2-8P) , do all the cameras have to connect directly to the PoE ports on the NVR, or can the cameras be connected to a PoE switch elsewhere and then just a single Ethernet cable connect the NVR to the switch, and PoE disabled on the NVR?
