First time CCTV buyer

Hi,

We are planning on purchasing CCTV to install ourselves, couple of things I’m not too sure about one if which is the cabling from the camera into the loft, once in there it’ll be fine as I will have an PoE switch in there.

Mainly once we have decided on a location for the cameras how best to get the cable through into the loft, drill all the way through and hope it comes out in the loft, mount so that cable comes through into bedroom and then up into loft from there or junction box and...
